Join in Adoration
Jesus Christ is present in the Eucharist. Please consider committing one hour on Mondays to the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. To schedule, please call the SH Rectory. St. Charles Borromeo Church in Destrehan also invites anyone to participate in 24 hour Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Lenten Schedule and Regulations
Fasting is to be observed on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday by all Catholics who are 18 years of age but not yet 59. Those who are bound to fast may take only one full meal. Two smaller meals are permitted if necessary to maintain strength according to each one’s needs, but eating solid foods between meals is not permitted. Abstinence from meat is to be observed by ALL Catholics 14 years and older on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.
Regular Daily Masses with confessions beginning at 7:40am on Mon. Tues. and Wed. Mass begins at 8:00am. No confessions on Thursday. Mass at 8:45am on Thursdays. Stations of the Cross will follow the Mass on Thursday and will be held on Friday at 6:00pm in Church. No Baptisms during Lent. No Altar Flowers during Lent.
KC Fish Fry
Fridays during Lent from 4:00-7:00pm. Dinners include catfish fillets, French fries, hush puppies, coleslaw and cake for $8.00. Fried onion mums are available for $6.00. Special orders or take out call the KC Home at

BAG OF LOVE
Please contribute to the BAG OF LOVE campaign as we will make a fall trip to the Ozanam Inn to deliver them. Envelopes are available in the back of Church.
The Food Pantry is in need of all items especially breakfast items, red beans & rice, peanut butter & jelly, spaghetti and noodles, canned tuna, potted meats and chicken. Please check the expiration date. Please bring to rectory or leave in foyer of Church. THANK YOU!!!!!!
